Solving Problems using either LCM or GCF

Hi, Kids. By the end of this task, you will be able to:
  1. Identify what to use LCM or GCF when solving real life problems.
  2. Explain the procedure you use to solve this type of problems.

Margarita is planning a party. She’ll give every 8th guest a nice flag of our country and every 24th guest a beautiful pin. Which customer will receive both the beautiful pin and the flag?

    The person who will have the two things will be the guest number 24 because it is the it as 3 x 8 is 24 as lcm of 24 and 8,and he will have and the gcf is 8 becase 24 and 8 has as factor 8 and it is the gcf

    It would be the number 24 because 3*8= 24. So the number 24 will recive both things.
